Become an OXFORD READER by joining the Oxford Lodge's virtual reading group. Each month, we host lively, guided discussions on literary works from a wide range of genres and time periods; fiction, nonfiction, theology, essays, poetry and the occasional film. This allows us to practice a type of intellectual hospitality while further seeking to develop our own inner life, ie. maturity in Christ. In other words, we read, listen and share in order to develop and maintain a perspective on life consistent with all that is true, good and beautiful; to become who — in Christ Jesus — we truly are.   • Meetings occur once a month, typically in the evening.

  • Read the book! As best you can, try to live with it for the whole of the month. Then just show up for the gathering. You may participate in the conversation as much (or as little) as you like.
